Today we take a step closer towards cryptographically secure interoperability. We’re unveiling Gargantua v2 our mainnet release candidate for Hyperbridge. Gargantua v2 brings support for zk proofs of consensus, permissionless relayers and support for the Binance smart chain network.

We’re excited to share that we’ve launched our Polkadot crowdloan for the Hyperbridge Parachain (codename: Nexus) with the ParaId 3367.

While we continue to wrap up the changes for Gargantua V2, We’d like to announce an exciting opportunity for our community members to be a part of the Hyperbridge network by running permissionless relayers. Hyperbridge will be the first fully trust-free cross-chain bridge to offer this feature and allow it’s community to be compensated by relaying requests & proofs of these requests to the appropriate chains.

Hyperbridge introduced a new class of coprocessors that are secured by crypto-economic security. In this article I formalise this novel architecture and some of its potential applications.

We’re excited to share the culmination of our research & development into the blockchain interoperability problem. We introduce Hyperbridge an interoperability coprocessor capable of scaling cryptographically secure, consensus & state proof-based interoperability to all blockchains.
